Well, no "trick-or-treaters" this year.
I should have done another witch series this year for the blog, but I haven't been in a blogging mood lately. So this year, it's one witch.
The Queen of all Witches!
Welcome

Suicide from Celery
Continuing an art project called People, Places, and Things, items are chosen out of a "hat" and an image incorporating these items are created. The items got from the "hat" this time were Benny Hill, River and celery.
The only thing I could come up with for that was to have Benny Hill hallucinating a female celery creature who is tempting Benny to jump in the river with a boulder tied around his neck.
Yeah...I know...it doesn't make much sense. While these photo colorforms that I've been doing are fun, finding the images to incorporate can be challenging.

Wonder Women
I got in a creative mood and decided to do some Wonder Woman mashups.
This first one, I took the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman pilot and put some scenes with the Xena theme:
The second one, I took the second season theme from the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman series and put some scenes from the Cathy Lee Crosby TV movie Wonder Woman:

Shopping in Paris
Continuing an art project called People, Places, and Things, items are chosen out of a "hat" and an image incorporating these items are created. The items got from the "hat" this time were Katharine Hepburn, Paris, and a beach ball.
I had to incorporate well-known French characters to help sell Paris...
Next time--Benny Hill, River, and celery.

Sundae at the Beach
Mom Smackley and I are doing an art project called People, Places, and Things. Each week, we pick items out of a "hat" and create an image incorporating these items. The items we got from our "hat" this week were Ernest Borgnine, Beach and a sundae.
Here is my result:
Mom Smackley has decided to take a break from the project and pursue some other creative outlets for now...but I'll be continuing on. Next up is Katharine Hepburn, Paris and a beach ball.

Aviation Expo 1938
Mom Smackley and I are doing an art project called People, Places, and Things. Each week, we pick items out of a "hat" and create an image incorporating these items. The items we got from our "hat" this week were Bela Lugosi, plane and a kitten.
I decided to try a different look for this one. I wanted to make it look like a vintage photo, but for the kitten I decided to use Pussyfoot, my favorite cartoon kitten.
Mom Smackley went with a plane interior and a bit of action.
