After a making a splash in his first film with a starring role opposite billboard superstar/actress Brooke Shields, Christopher Atkins continued acting and has been working for 30 years. During the early part of his career, he was known more for what he was not wearing than his acting. While he's never been the big blockbuster star like Tom Cruise or Tom Hanks, I would rather watch him than either of them.
He appeared in many magazines through the years like People, 16, Teen Beat, and Playgirl (which he also made the cover). The only magazine that I wish had featured him was my favorite After Dark, but he only had two movies under his loincloth before the magazine ended its run at the beginning of 1983.
