Run to the Bank
Monday's Man:
Wally Willemet
You're asking yourself: "Who?"
That's okay. This young man was not a model, actor, athlete or a celebrity of any kind. He was featured in the "Discovery" section of the February 1974 issue of In Touch.
He was a twenty-five year old bank officer who was gay and gorgeous. Thom Taylor wrote an article detailing his work and personal life. He had never done anything like this before and said he would never do anything like this again. What a shame. In Touch found him at a party and contacted him about doing the centerfold.
Lucky for us, he said yes and In Touch photographer, Hy Chase, took these great photos. Wally and his special someone lived in Hollywood with their two German Shepherds. It's fun to look back at the early 70's and wonder what became of guys like Wally. Where is he? What's he doing now?
