YouTube Tuesday presents:
Ann-Margret
To start off with my first memory of Ann-Margret when she voiced Ann-Margrock on The Flintstones
She also appeared on Here's Lucy singing "Country Magic" with the adorable Desi Arnaz Jr. (I love the middle bridge music by Billy May)
Ann-Margret stops traffic with "Walkin'" from her TV special.
Two of the greatest scenes from Tommy
Here's Ann-Margret singing "Champagne"...
...and her wild "Smash the Mirror".
One of my favorite songs from her disco album was "Hold Me, Squeeze Me". Here, she is performing it on a 1981 George Burns Special.
Ann-Margret is an amazing actress, singer and entertainer. I actually saw her Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. She was the best thing in the show (besides the Aggies). So if you get a chance to watch some of her movies this week, I suggest Tommy, Kitten with a Whip, Made in Paris, Murderer's Row, Joseph Andrews, or Carnal Knowledge.
