What's On? Wednesday: Snow White

In the late 80's, Cannon Films released feature length movie musicals based on fairy tales. These included Puss In Boots, Red Riding Hood, The Emperor's New Clothes, Hansel and Gretel, etc... These were family films, but like the fairy tales on which they are based, some could be a little too "Grimm" for small children.

They got some well-known actors to appear in these films like Helen Hunt, Sid Caesar, Rebecca De Mornay, Cloris Leachman, Christopher Walken and Isabella Rosellini.

Some of course were duds, but others were memorable. The only one I own on DVD is Snow White.
